Traffic

Connecting your site

For a flow to start working, link it to your site. Open the flow menu → Connect and choose one method — one is enough. Your ads point to your own site address: the pages stay with you.

  • The methods are collapsed, and only one is open at a time. A working method is marked in green with an “Installed” badge.
  • A flow in “Tracker” mode connects only with the PHP file — the tag, Keitaro, Binom and site builders are not shown for it.

JS tag

  1. Copy the code.
  2. Paste it as the first line of <head> on every landing page, then save and reload the page. Don’t use Google Tag Manager or any other tag manager, and don’t add async or defer: they run the script later, so everyone sees the page before the decision arrives.
  3. Check the connection with the Check my page button: we open the page and look for the code.

The tag hides the page until the decision arrives and sends the visitor to the White Page if there is no decision.

PHP file

For sites hosted with PHP support. Suitable for “Tracker” mode. Shadow mode works on the PHP file, the Keitaro filter and the Binom gate.

  1. Download the file with the Download file button.
  2. Put it in the landing root as index.php and rename your existing landing, for example to offer.php.
  3. Set the new landing address as the flow’s offer, for example https://your-site.com/offer.php.
  4. Check the connection — we check that the file responds.

The file on your server does not update itself. When a new version is out, the window shows a “You're running an older file” banner listing what your current version cannot do. Download the file again and replace it.

Keitaro filter

If your traffic already runs through Keitaro, ArtisanClo plugs into it as a stream filter: Keitaro asks us whether a visit may go to the offer, and your Keitaro streams decide where it goes.

  1. Download this flow's filter file.
  2. Put it on the Keitaro server in /var/www/keitaro/var/filters (application/filters in older versions) and reload Keitaro.
  3. In the Keitaro campaign, open the offer stream and add the filter named like the file in “Yes” mode. Place the stream with your White Page below it — everyone else goes there.

Keitaro asks the filter before answering the visitor, so there is no check page here: the JavaScript check, time on page and live interaction do not apply to this method, and the decision is made from the network and the request. The offer and White Page addresses of the ArtisanClo flow are not used — Keitaro streams set them. If our service does not answer within 3 seconds, the visit goes to the White Page.

Binom gate

If your traffic runs through Binom, ArtisanClo plugs into the landing as a gate: the check is the first line of the landing and decides before it is shown. A human sees your landing with its usual Binom offer link; a bot and a reviewer get the White Page.

  1. Download this flow's gate file and put it next to your Binom landing file on your server.
  2. Make it the first line of the landing, before any output: <?php require __DIR__ . '/ac_binom_NNN.php'; ?>
  3. Check the connection: a human reaches the landing, a bot gets the White Page.

The gate decides before answering the visitor, so there is no check page: the JavaScript check, time on page and live interaction do not apply, and the decision is made from the network and the request. If the service does not answer within 3 seconds, the visitor goes to the White Page baked into the file at download time — if you change the White Page, download the file again. Binom has no filters folder like Keitaro, so the method is a file in the landing itself, not a flow filter.

Site builders

On Starter, you connect your site with the JS tag or the PHP file. The WordPress plugin, the Cloudflare worker and the site builder guides come with the Professional plan.

  • WordPress Professional and above — Download the plugin → in WordPress, “Plugins” → “Upload Plugin” → “Activate” → “Settings” → ArtisanClo → paste the API key and pick the flow. If your site uses a caching plugin, clear the cache after connecting.
  • Tilda, Webflow Professional and above — a paid site builder plan is required: paste the code into the head section and publish the site.
  • Unbounce Professional and above — Script Manager, Head placement. Does not work on the unbouncepages.com domain.
  • Shopify Professional and above — paste the code into the theme template right after <head>.
  • Cloudflare Professional and above — the code is inserted on the Cloudflare side, and your site files stay untouched. The domain must be proxied through Cloudflare (orange cloud).
    1. Workers & Pages → Create application → Start with Hello World: name it and click Deploy.
    2. Edit code: replace the default code with the code from the connection window and click Deploy.
    3. Settings → Variables and Secrets → Add: type Text, name AC_SNIPPET, value — the entire code to paste. Click Deploy.
    4. Settings → Domains & Routes → Add → Route: pick the domain and enter a pattern, for example example.com/*.
If you skip Deploy after adding the variable, the code is not inserted, and with a grey cloud the worker does not run at all.

Connection check

  • Check results: “Setup found on your page”, “Your page opened, but this setup did not answer on it” or “Couldn't open your page”. The last one does not necessarily mean the connection is broken: some sites block the check.
  • You can check once every 20 seconds. A check resets the earlier “Installed” and “Connected” marks — they come back with the first visit.
  • Under each method you see “Works now” or the date of the last activity.
The code must load first

If the tag script fails to load (for example, a network or a server-side blocker cuts it), the page will not be hidden and moderation will see it. Put the code on the very first line and check the connection after every change to your site.
